Hey to all out there who might read this or who might even be slightly concerned...it's funny really.  Since I've turned 21, I feel like a totally different person: one who's more responsible, one who's growing tired of hanging with those who hold me back, and I'm also on the verge of finding my own place....granted, there are a lot of people (and i mean a LOT) who are my age or younger who have their own place, but to me, it seems like something really awesome.  I can't wait to get out of my parent's place and to have a place called my own (or one for temporary status).  However, there are still those unsure areas (let's call them gray), such as where I want to go to continue my education after the community college or if I should at all....what i really want to do is another one.  I want to work for a newspaper and such, but having a second option would be really good to know....but as I'm trying to figure out all this, here's another quiz result from one I've taken recently.  Enjoy!

What Color Is Your Soul?

Green

You have a green soul. Green souls are outgoing and adventurous. You love to be outdoors as nature is in your soul. The thought of trees and grass is calming to you. You love to do anything adrenaline-inducing. You are very daring and love to test yourself to your limits. You may clash with many people but those who understand you get on extremely well with you. You will have strong relationships in the future.

People tell you to calm down or not to hurt yourself often and this irritates you. You go off in a huff quite often. Remember people are just looking out for you. Next time instead of doing in a huff explain why things irritate you. Understanding is what keeps you at peace.

Hello to those out there....it's me, Wishfullover07 aka Bridgey.  So sorry it's been quite some time since I've last written to you out there, been really busy with stuff and figuring out life.  It's funny really, I've come to realize these past few weeks that the only person in this world you can rely on fully is yourself and no one else...be very careful who you're friends with. I thought I had some of the greatest friends anyone could ask for...but lately, it just seems like I've been betrayed.  Last week, it was my 21st birthday and for months, it's been in the works and everything was planned to be the best party I had ever.  But by the fates of life, it turned into the worst birthday I've experienced in my 21 years of life.  It starts off with me calling my friends, telling them I was on my way but they decided to tell me that they were going to go to a football game instead.  That wasn't bad at all...I knew they were going to go to it and that was fine, I just would find something else to do for a while.  Everyone did meet up with me at the place we were scheduled to meet at for supper.  That was probably the highlight of the night.  After dinner, we go back to my friend's apartment where two of them suddenly leave because of a friend's recent breakup. They were going to console him, which was totally understandable. I figured they would come back after a couple of hours.  Unfortunately, these couple friends never came back and I later find out that they went to another party in general...but my friends, that isn't the icing on the shit-cake yet.  Less than a week after my "spectacular" party, I've suddenly become a backstabbing bitch who can't be trusted.  People tend to come to me to vent about their problems and I do the best I can to give them the solutions I feel are best.  However, I do have this problem where I try to please everyone and I want everyone around me to get along.  I'm aware, the biggest mistake I can make is thinking this and trying to force it onto people...I just never learn, do I? Anyway, these friends of mine have come to conclude that I'm a bad person and I can't be trusted with anything and how it's annoying that I "try to get everyone to get along".  So, as of this day, September 26, 2009...if you have a problem or want to vent, I'll still be here to listen to you, but I refuse to give advice, since it seems like all it does is get me into trouble.  More than anything, I want my friends back...at this point, i don't know why because they're being whatever and blowing things out of proportion that I (and quite a few others) feel shouldn't be.  But still, they have been there for me in other times as well and I do want them to realize this and hope to move on past this...isn't there more to life than being mad about things that are going to be irrelevant in years to come?  I guess I will let them be the judges of that...Chelsea, Kayla & Megan, I don't know what else to tell you other than I'm sorry and I wish I knew what to do at this point.  I'm about ready to give up on being friends with you.  Most of me feels like you would be happier without me in your life anyway.

"Better In Time"
--Leona Lewis

It's been the longest winter without you
I didn't know where to turn to
See somehow I can't forget you
After all that we've been through

Going coming
Thought I heard a knock
Who's there no one
Thinking that I deserve it
Now I realize that I really didn't know
If you didn't notice you mean everything
Quickly I'm learning to love again
All that I know is I'mma be ok

[Chorus:]
Thought I couldn't live without you
It's gonna hurt when it heals too
It'll all get better in time
Even though I really love you
I'm gonna smile cause I deserve to
It'll all get better in time

I couldn't turn on the TV
Without something there to remind me
Was it all that easy
To just put aside your feelings

If I'm dreaming don't wanna laugh
Hurt my feelings but that's the path
I'll believe in
And I know time will heal it
If you didn't notice boy you mean everything
Quickly I'm learning to love again
All I know is I'mma be ok

[Chorus:]
Thought I couldn't live without you
It's gonna hurt when it heals too
It'll all get better in time
Even though I really love you
I'm gonna smile cause I deserve to
It'll all get better in time

Since there's no more you and me
It's time I let you go
So I can be free
And live my life how it should be
No matter how hard it is I'll be fine without you
Yes I will

[Chorus: x2]
Thought I couldn't live without you
It's gonna hurt when it heals too
It'll all get better in time
Even though I really love you
I'm gonna smile cause I deserve to (yes I do)
It'll all get better in time

Quiz Result #2 and My Apologies

  • Jul. 6th, 2009 at 10:48 AM

Hey out there...to whomever of you reads my blog, sorry that I haven't posted in...nearly 2 weeks.  Internet on my laptop has been dysfunctional and refused to work and I told myself I would only post entries on here only from there...but anyway. I'm back up and running now yay!!!  SO here is my next quiz results from one I took on Facebook the other way....Quiz Titled: Full Analysis Based On Your Horoscope.

Virgo

You may seem cold and detached, yet at times you can actually be quite outgoing. This is because your perception is your reality. If you have a negative outlook, your life will include negative twists and turns and you will often retreat into your inner feelings. If you have a positive outlook, your life will feel positive and you will be a more pleasant, upbeat person to be around. You are sensitive to your surroundings, but you don't like to analyze your feelings. You are inclined to tell people that everything is going well, even when it is not.

Emotions

You appear calm to friends and family, but inside you are always analyzing and thinking with a high degree of nervous energy. You can tire yourself out without even moving. You have a constant need to perfect, which can easily lead to you being perceived as picky and finicky by your family and friends.

Virgo Decisions

Some people might think that you are indecisive or slow to make a decision. In fact, you are just taking your time to weigh all the facts before you decide what you are going to do. You are very good at problem-solving because you like to separate all the elements, think about each one and then slowly put them back together again to determine what they all mean. Your rational thinking often frustrates other people

Family and friendship

You have charm and dignity, and you appear to be cheerful and agreeable. People seek you out to be your friend, but they sense that it is best to wait until you show you're ready. Once you do, they will appreciate your truthfulness, loyalty and determination

Romance

Virgos like planned dates – nothing spontaneous. You tend to embarrass easily. You worry about what is going to happen or be discussed on dates and in relationships. You don't like people probing your mind and asking you a lot of questions until you have formed a strong relationship with them. Even then, you do not feel very comfortable being asked questions.

Quiz Result #1------>The Temperment Of Water

  • Jun. 24th, 2009 at 10:12 PM

This is what my results were from when I took the quiz, 'What Temperment Am I?  Some of the results are Fire, Water, Earth, Air...ya know, the usual...there were some more results, but I forget what they all were and in the end, this is what my personal result was. =]

Phelgmatic (Water)

You are the harmonizer and peace-maker. You prefer life to be peaceful and flowing, rather than bright, changing and vibrant. You are a loyal & steady friend. You have the power to merge the ordinary with the extraordinary, but because you may take your time to do this, many people may perceive you as slow or unenthusiastic rather than seeing the real you that is simply flowing and meditative. An affirmation for you would be: Visualize yourself floating Flowing, moistening, merging The reservoirs, river and streams of your body Going deep within for the wisdom of life. The depths of the unconscious mind, Facing the darkness of the unknown, Find the courage to be vulnerable, Aging with grace and health. Massage your lower back, Avoid cold foods and sugar. Limit your salt intake. And always listen to your dreams.

Writer's Block #7---->When I Was Young

  • Jun. 23rd, 2009 at 6:39 PM

There are quite a few things I miss about being a kid.  One being you can have as much fun as you want with little to no responsibilities.  Life was a lot easier, due to lack of making money for a living and when it comes to friendships/relationships, when you were little, you didn't have to worry about the drama and heartbreak that most of us are accustom to when we get older.  There are lots of days where I wish I could revert to being a kid again, because then I'd have the same awesome friends I had when I was younger, I wouldn't have dealt with the very painful heartbreak of being broken up with of my boyfriend of 5 years....and I wouldn't have to worry about trying to find a job to earn a living (and some money) =[

Writer's Block #6----->Music for Thought

  • Jun. 22nd, 2009 at 10:58 AM

This is a very good question of the day....I guess I like to listen to some Coldplay, Nickelback or Massive Attack when I'm trying to study.  But sometimes, I don't like to listen to much of anything because it's a major distraction from what I'm doing.  When I'm working, however, I'll put my iTunes onto shuffle mode and listen to whatever's playing because I can listen to just about anything when my mind is distracted in the working sense.

During the past week (June 15-June 21), probably the best thing that has happened to me would either have to be when I got my LiveJournal account or all the storm/tornado reports this week in Iowa.  I know, that sounds really sad, but nothing too exciting has happened in my life this past week....hopefully that will change this week.  :)

Writer's Block #4-----The Ideal Weekend....

  • Jun. 20th, 2009 at 9:33 AM

There are many things I would consider as an 'ideal weekend' but I guess I'll tell you two of mine:

The first one (being the one of more realism)  would have to be getting a bunch of friends together and go tubing down the Upper Iowa River and enjoying a few drinks as we go along.  After we'd get done tubing, we'd get cleaned up and go out to a dance club or a bar and be able to drink without getting ourselves into trouble.  Then we'd end the night on a good note for all involved.

My other ideal weekend would be one where I would get all of my college friends (and a couple from high school), we'd all travel out to California to hang out at the beach.  Ideally, we'd be close by to a large city so there's something for everyone to enjoy.  Then we could have a bonfire out on the beach or maybe go tour the sites of the city, maybe even go out to one of their clubs :) and just have a good time.  Well, going to NYC wouldn't be so bad to go to either, but I'd rather head to a beach with my friends :)

Writer's Block #3---->Local Favorite

  • Jun. 19th, 2009 at 10:19 AM

Interesting question for today....considering not a lot of out-of-town guests show up at the residence of my parent's.   But, I guess if I were to ever get some of my friends who lived further away up here to NE Iowa, I would have to show them the glorious (little joke, haha) Decorah.  It's pretty much the 'city' of the area (for the next 70 miles, you can pick up to either Rochester, La Crosse or Cedar Falls)....so I'm a little limited on the entertainment factor.  Decorah has its pretty views and unique shops and eatery's...but all in all, this would be the place I would have to show my out-of-towners when they drop by for a visit....so that means Megan, Mickey, Chelsea, Kayla, Annie, Courtney, Andy...or any of you people I know that live far away from me in lonely NE Iowa....get your asses up here for a visit and give me an excuse to find entertainment!!!

Wow....like, do you mean from a TV series, a movie, or a book?   Well, in that case, for today's posting, I took a quiz on what type of fictional character I am, and it said I was a "Quizzical Shape-Shifter"....below is a more in-depth result about it.  Enjoy =]

Oh, how strange! And how utterly confusing! The Shape Shifter is one big puzzle, having the ability to change forms into whatever it has seen and touched in the past, whether it be a person, animal, or even an inanimate object! Shape shifters tend to be puzzling people who love riddles, puzzles, and strange jokes that others might not get unless they’re on the same ‘wavelength’ as the Shape Shifter. They are tricky people who love to play pranks and mess around with humans just for the laughs, and usually have nothing better to do than to stir up trouble with each other. If you are most like the Shape Shifter, than you have an odd sense of humor, and tend to see things a little ‘outside the box’. You may confuse people sometime with your logic, and those who don’t know how to laugh at themselves or just have fun in general trouble you. You’re most likely the sort of ‘prankster’ of your group, or perhaps you’re the life of the party. Either way, people either love you or hate you, because there’s just simply no in between when it comes to you. So you keep on being the way you are, because there just simply can never be too many fun people in the world. Your color is rainbow. Your animal is the chameleon. Your life quote is: “All things must change to something new, to something strange.” Your greatest attributes are your carefree attitude, your ability to have fun no matter where you go, and the fact that you bring everyone else a little happiness, too, whether they wanted it or not. Your greatest weakness is the fact that sometimes you just want to be accepted, and these changes that you are usually greet with open arms can, at times, make you a little insecure about who you really are.

Hmm....never really thought about this.  I'm a Christian, but I don't see myself as a "sub-species" Christian (Lutheran, Catholic, etc.) I believe this because deep down, we're all the same religion within the big mass of Christianity.  Why break it down and try to complicate things?

But onto answering the question:  I would like to try out a few different religions, like maybe being a Wiccan or Buddhism. They just seem like the types of religions that would suit me the best. =]
